Default hybrid turbo

hi i have a series 1 with a hybrid turbo fitted and i've been told that they are prone for blowing the fuel pump relay is this true and would it be better wiring the pump straight to the ignition on a in line fuse your help would be much appreciated

CAN'T SEE HOW THE TURBO HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH BLOWING THE FUEL PUMP RELAY!

Would not have anything to do with it the relays are prone to blowing but its not to do with the turbo...

And don't for heavens sake wire it directly form the ignition. The fuel pump needs to shut down when the engine stalls.
