Gent/Ladies,

I have been having problems with my ERST for months now and I thought I had finally sorted all the running problems.

Last night after a hard day at work, I was driving home when a car fucked me off by stopping with no warning in front of me so I stopped the car, flicked the bird and booted it off.

High revs, wheel spin it was all good, UNTIL I got to a roundabout and my problems have started. Under low boost or no boost I have a missfire. It is slight but the engine is hesitant unitl you get onto the turbo. When I got the car home I checked air pipes had a little look at the dizzy etc. (in the dark) and everything seemed fine. I took the car out this morning and the miss seemed better when the car was cold but still there but as soon as it got hot it seemed to get worse.

I am on ebay right now looking for dizzy, new cap, rotor arm, leads (plugs are only 4 weeks old)

ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS???????

Also if you live in the Birmingham area, are there any good tuners about as it needs proper setting up aswell.

where about in birmingham are you mate ?? i know a couple of tuners that could help you out

 

I am just near sutton colfeild in the Kingstanding area. Car needs a good set up and this problem fixed. if you got anyone give us a number or summat if you know of any good ones.

 

sounds like leads or coil breaking down as they get worse when hot hth

cheers for the help. it turned out to be rotor arm and dizzy cap! Fooking fords are always broken. Thanks for the garages i will give them a try today.
