Default Washer jet questions.

I building a new washer system for my car as I'm fed up of my poxy 2L ford one running out every five minutes especially when I'm trying to clear mud off the windscreen

My new system uses a plastic 10L jerrycan and a metal cage to mount it to my roll cage.

I intend to use it to feed 4 double jets simultaneously (2 on bonnet, one on each wiper) as the std jets are not enough to clear mud quickly without loosing all visibility due to smearing so i have to slow down or stop for 20 seconds or so.

I've mounted 2 std washer pumps to the jerry can to feed in parrellel as i would like a bit more pressure to get it from the boot to the windscreen.

My question is this:

will this provide enough pressure or will I need an additional in line pump near the bulkhead in the engine bay to boost it a bit?????

i think you may struggle gettin enough flow out the pump, pressure isnt really what your after, it flow rate! just gonna have to suck it and see.

may be able to use a pump from another car depending on how they mount in your new jerry can. some cars that have headlight washers have a large powerfull washer motor!

I was thinking that one pump flows enough for 2 twin jets on the bonnet of most fords so 2 pumps must be enough for 4, hence why they are parallel plumbed.

also the washer system in the Puma rally car is mounted in the boot with the std pump to feed the front screen, so i'm thinking the std pump must be up to the job for 2 jets at least.
