no boost in third gear ?

hello people, just bought a s2 that ive stripped and in the middle of restoring. on the way home from buying it i noticed that its seems very flat in third compared with second and first. once the bodys finished iwas going to have it looked at and set up, but just wondered if any of u lot might know whats wronge. many thanks.

Whats wrong? The bosch fuelling system that all RST's have i would say
A good set up will probably cure your problem, worth testing the various engine sensors however, in particular Coolant Temp. Sensor, Air Charge Temperature Sensor and the Throttle Position Switch.
