s1 cutting out at 4k when driving

s1 cutting out at 4k when driving
Was driving my s1 today around the block, and gave it a little stick once it had warmed up and it kinda cut out on revs at approx 4k on the rev counter and wouldn't go higher.
Any ideas why it kinda starts missing an cuts out on reving at 4k rpm
