Default Group a coil fitting

I've bought a new coil for my sierra 4x4 cosorth. Can anyone tell me how to fit it? Thanks a lot.

Black wire to + green to - coil lead into hole , there was a how to guide in performance ford a couple of issues ago m8.

I've welded a stud between the 2 connections on the + and the - (note they dont have the same size on the genuine coil) and then wrapped them with self amalgamating tape so I've used the genuine loom without modification.. Don't have picture but I guess is easy enough to understand..

tip of the day: use a flame thing (don't know the name) to heat the stud on a clamp put some welding on it and then weld it on the coil with an electric solder or you'll never make the solder to stay on the stud (do you see what I mean?)

On the group A coil there is 4 prongs on it, what wire goes where?? Cheers m8.

2 of the prongs on 1 side are positive 2 on the other are negative. You only have to connect the wire to one on each side to get it to work!!! It should clearly say near the prongs on both sides which is which ie + and -

Most ppl just cut the connectors off and fit female blade connectors to make it fit. Pretty straight forward mate
