as doors for mk4 escort cabriolets are quite hard to find, is it possible to make one yourself from a door off a 3 dr escort?to me it looks like if you cut the frame in exactly the right place and use the rubbers and glass from my existing cabriolet door then there is no difference, considering that before all mk3-4 cabriolets existed the started out as 2 dr estate shells and were sent to Karmaan to be converted, this must mean that is what Karmaan did to the doors.
Has any1 ever tried this???

i'd reckon it can be done easier than you think, wouldnt say no!

 

would have though so as long as you did it carefully, im after a mint drivers side one for my project cab.

 

i think as long as i cut it in exactly the right place it would work, would be much easier 2 find a door off a 3dr than a cabby

 

if only you would have posted this up last week i had to mint doors for a mk 4 cab they where sat in my shed for about a year i could'nt get rid of them so i bined em last weekend
