Default Mondeo Zetec 2.0 1998 Unichip AND steering wheel fun !

Hi - anyone tried a Uni (or bluefin) on a 2.0 Zetec mk2 yet? Any opinions please ?

Also I need to swop my Steering wheel (rubber is SO worn) what's a very quick and simple instruction list for pulling it off (he he) and putting it back on again !

Thanks

R

Speak to SCC about the blue fin. They will tell you everything you need to know.

The steering wheel could be difficult as you will have to remove the air bag. Once the air bag is out then it's just a case of removing the big nut in the centre and a bit of brute force (leave the nut on so it doesn't suddenly pop off and smack you in the face)...

I think the air bag is held in by 2 8mm headed bolts behind the steering wheel (through some little access hols in the back of the steering wheel).

You could always speak to Stu or Kenny an Motorsport Developments. They do Evolution chips but also won't sell you something that they don't think you should waste money on, unless you really want it...
