Default ka 1.8 zetec !!!!!!!

HELLO PEOPLE

I HAVE GOT A 2001 KA FULL RALLY PREP. AT THE MOMENT I HAVE THE 1.3 CROSSFLOW (STANDERD) ENGINE THAT IS PUTING OUT JUST OVER 100 BHP.OK ITS NOT THE QUICKEST OF CARS BUT ITS FUN!!! THE POWER AT THE MOMENT IS GOOD BUT ANY MORE POWER FROM THIS ENGINE IS GOING TO MAKE IT UNRELIABLE, THIS IS WHY WE HAVE DECIDED TO GO FOR THE BIGGER ENGINE.REALLY I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANY ONE HAS DONE THIS CONVERSION BEFORE AND IF SO HAVE ANY TIPS IN THIS CONVERSION?

THANKS

hello there...welcome on passionford....

if an YB cossie engine fits in a KA then i guess almost every 4cyl engine will fit...

a populair engine transplant is the puma engine conversion...

dude , you got a valancia not a x-flow , but antways , you can fit a cvh efi or turbo with out too much hassle can even mod the mounts to take a zetec lump , these are all efi and the engine loom unplugs on these so this is a easyish option,.
