Default rev counter

my rev counter isnt working in my escort mk5 1.6 16v clx

what could be the problem....sensor, cable etc etc...and where can i find it..

well the wire for the revcounter is in the loom , you could check a spare set of clocks to see if the counters gone , other wise the engine loom plug or the coil pack plug , its a green wire,.
