Default Mondeo Heater Problem

Hi there.

The heater in my mondeo has started playing up.

It will blow air when the dial is turned to number 4 but from 1 to 3 there is no output whatsoever.

I have checked the fuses and relay and they all semm fine.

Has anyone got any ideas.

Thanks

Sounds like the resistor that controls the fan speed. Monnys are well known for melting the electrical plug that goes onto the fan motor, you can find it in the passenger foot well atached to the heater box.

9 times out of ten its the resistor, there only about £10 from fords, although you may need the loom plug that go's onto it. (avalible seperatly)
