Default Missfire i think?

Has anybody come across this problem?
whilst drivin in 2nd or 3rd as i hit 4.5k ocasionally there is what i think is a missfire, this hardly ever happens apart from when you wanna kick the arse of a scooby or generally on cooler days, but you can trake it back down to 2nd and launch it as hard as you like and it will be fine.

sounds like the prob i had with my old s2,it kept blowing out the spark on the plug cos the gap was too large! then found out two of the plugs were fooked,so went and got some new ones( N.G.Ks BCR8ESs) and that cured it fine! that was three years ago,now ive bin told to use cossie plugs( platinum tip style)!
