1600 zetec enging with no power will rev OK but sounds like the exhaust is blowing but its not sounds like inlet blowing any ideas?

yeah, i'd be checking the Cat for blockage too Si...

 

hi, i had a similar problem, the cat had been rattling for over a year n finally it blew thru n blocked the airflow by sittining in the exit pipe, anything over 4k revs and it wud loose power...? Same enigne but mines a multipoint
