yeh just take the bottom hose on the rad, let it all leak out, put it back on, get 2 litres of coolant, antifreeze, and top it up with water... "note it will go down on first couple of jurneys"

the water will be running through the turbo water return pipe(one that's across the top of the rocker) and feeding back into the header if it's working correctly

yeah thats the one ive been taking off to see if any water comes through. o got rid of an air lock at the bottom of the turbo where it comes out of the thermostat housing and had water running onto it but cant seem to get it to come outof the top pipe. i had this prob before and it sort of cured itself its just i can feel their is something not right about it.. or maybe i aint got a clue..

just for a test take the thermstat out and see if the water will flow then(maybe it stuck) or the rad is blocked (furred up and cant allow the water to flow round)

thought of that but it has brand new rad , thermostat all pipes were off and cleaned when engine was out new engine brand new turbo.. im sure it has air in the system as ive bled it from the places like thermostat housing just normaly i can get it to come out from the top of the turbo.. which when i took it for a slow drive round the block seemed to get very hot. although temp gauge didnt read that hot.. i know the turbos can be run without water but as its their id rather use it.. if i get time ill have another go later..

the water should run throgh the turbo all of the time, not just when the thermostat is open.
