right get comfy ill begin lol.ive recently rebuilt my 2l pinto engine using standard parts but including a kent fast road cam,uprated rockers,heavy duty retaining springs and what seemed to be shortened valve springs.when i drive over 2500rpm i seemed to have developed a rattle which emulates from engine.ive checked the tappets they are fine,compression is great,ignition timing is fine but this rattle occurs.
i honed bores before replacing pistons and accidently took lip off top of bore so not sure if its piston slap but seems too high up a noise for that.
ps with a fast road cam are u supposed to feel a sort of boost over a certain rev cos i dont.,not sure if i should of put the shortened valve springs on
