I brought a MK3 Escort Cabriolet (injection) which i'm fixing up atm, but i found 3 multi-plugs underneath the dash (drivers side) that aren't connected to anything, a blue one, a purple one & a grey one, can anyone tell me what they connect up to?
Has the injection been changed for something else than the K-jetronic? The purple looks like the original fuel pump relay. The blue one was.... was it the interior light delay or the remote tailgate opening (on the Orion at least)... The grey one I have never ever seen on any mk3. Could it be related to the power assisted sunroof?

Cheers peeps!
Found out the purple multi-plug is for a fuel pump saftey relay (or something like that), there's 2 relays mounted on a plate behind the dash (drivers side), a black one & a purple one.
Still not too sure what the blue & the grey multi-plugs do, so if anyone has a XR3i please could have look behind your dash & tell me what they plug into?
Thanks

I can tell you that my mk1 Orion loom has teh blue relay, but my S1 loom doesn't. So it's got to be related to something that the Escort didn't have. From memory it's either the interior light dimming delay or the electric trunk lid release. Do you have an electric trunk lid release in the cabrio?
