VSS Sensor Help Mondeo 1.8 Duratec Mk3 2003
Hi, I've just done an engine swap on my Mondeo and have ran in to a problem. I have managed to start the car once and it ran sweet as a nut although took a long time for it to fire. I haven't been able to start it since.
I have now found the Speed Sensor wires have been torn but I cannot find which part of the loom it connects to. The crank sensor wire was also ripped when removing the loom during the engine replacement and I simply soldered the plug back on but I now worry that at this part of the loom there may have been a multi-plug joining the wiring to the VSS.
I've checked all looms - the loom with the lambda sensors and all the wires are accounted for, it's the same story for the loom with the coilpack plug as well.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Photo would be incredible!
Thanks in advance,
Richard.
