Ive changed my rear diff pinion seal as was leaking and within a 100 miles it's leaking again all over my restored underside

Could this be caused by worn diff bearings?...

Also does the 2wd diff fit a 4x4? Ive heard a few people mention this..
If so what are the advantages?..

You need 2WD rear beam. It's heavier but stronger.

3 reasons for oil leak on rear axle :
as you say : worn diff bearing
too much oil (normaly, 5mm below plug)
default on vent of case rear axle : check if not blocked

Cheers mate vent is clear may have a little too much oil,
I'm hoping that will be the problem.

I'll scrap the 2wd diff idea as my beam etc has just been restored.
