Hi, I need to get my calipers off but cant get the top bolt off to undo them, the bolt is close to being rounded and I dont want to have to fook it completely, how else can I get them off? I know there are the alan key holes, but dont have the right size key? For my ERST by the way. Cheers.

Ok, now back to the original topic, i have managed to get the caliper off! WAHEY!!! Now, putting the pads back in is the prob, lol. U have the thre metal clips that obviosuly push inside the piston bit of the back of the caliper, but i cant get it to go in properly, what am i dong wrong?
No the pad wont fit the piston, just seems as tho it wont go in but of course it does cos i just took em out, just cant get em back in. wot do i do put on end in first then push the clip back and slide it in or what?
With the caliper off the bracket, fit the inboard pad to the piston. Should be a peice of piss mate
Just clips in
Then stick the outboard pad in the backet and slide the caliper over the disc and outer pad.
Neil.

Hi mate, yea done all that and now the calliper is back over the disc and ive tightened the bolts back up that hold the calliper to the hub, but my disc seems really loose and I dont know why, there shouldn't be play in it should there, pmsl!
Pump the pedal, and the play will be no more
Neil.
PS you should have someone do this while u make sure that the brakes are coming on before you even THINK about driving the car

Big thanks to Neil S. Top bloke. Helped me out when no other bastid on here would help when I asked! CheeRS mate. Thanks alot. Got it all back together and is fine, and so far so good no squeak. I think God is punishing me tho, I just pulled back inthe garage and there is a 3 inch screw sticking out the side of my tyre, in my mint front goodyear eagle venturas! Fucked and I bet they cant repair it!
I need two new back tyres, why could it not go in them! BOLLOX!!
Cheers again Neil!
