Coilpack experts....???
I have an L8 Sapph Cossie engine (Red Top) and am using a normal dizzy/coil setup.
I would love to convert to a Coilpack, but funds dont allow, but worse than that i have a suspect dodgy Ign Amp.
So if i can manage to scrape any dosh together it'll have to be for a new Ign Amp.
I was just wondering if anyone had any bright idea's that could save me having to buy 2 new ign. amp's (one for use now, and then another in the future when i do eventually goto a coil pack)....

try swapping it out with a known good one before spending your money on one. too many folk needlessly change things without diagnosing the actual fault.
as i was saying on another post, there are 2 channel amps available that are suitable for use with a coilpack. i don't know if you use one of them if it is capable of running with just one channel? i would pm simon (SECS) if i were you, he's the expert on this kind of t'ing
