Amal valve clickinng constantly. S2 ERST
Hi Chaps.
I have finally finished the wiring loom on my S2 and got her running, everything seems and sounds well but my boost control solenoid is behaving badly.
When I put my ignition on, it clicks rapidly about four or five times, where it only used to click just the once. Also, when my engine is idling is is clicking fairly loud and fast.
Any ideas or solutions would be great,

bin the amal valve . block the pipe to the metering head and fit bleed valve to the other 2 pipes . mine did the same thing . did that and sorted it m8

Cheers mate, You don't know of any other solution do you. I ain't too keen on fitting a bleed valve. I always thought the amal valve had some degree of failsafe with it.

not sure about the failsafe m8 ...u might be rite they do seem to be troublesome though...........then maybe by a new one off ford . wastegate solenoid there about £35-40 finis 1629020

proberbly air pipe from ecu to inlet manifold blocked or pinched.
this causes amal valve to go mad and car to pink as ecu cannot detect vacuum or pressure.
