does anybody know what the my problem is?

i own a 1993 big turbo escort cosworth, stage 3 with only 13,000 miles on the clock.

the clutch pedal vibrates when lifting up and feels notchy and grindy but without the grinding sounds. It also vibrates through the throttle pedal.

i thought the exhaust downpipe may have been running too close to something by the bulkhead but i've checked it out and its not.

when the cluth is all the way down and sitting stationary i can rev the throttle and feel it through both cluth and throttle pedals at the same time.

i thought it may have been the clutch, but the car does not judder and the clutch does not slip.

can anyone help?
