Bought some mondeo si alloys (cosworth look-a-likes) with an ET of 40 and 195/45/16 uniroyal rainsports..
The fronts fitted fine on my xr2i but the backs rubbed on the suspension cups...turned the suspension shocks around 180 degrees as they are higher the other side, this helped a lil bit...even with 10mm spacers and a lil bit of the cup grinded off they still rub!
anyhelp would be great...except for go buy coilvers! cant afford brand new ones!
help would be greatly appreciated as im getting really down now!
Cheers Guys

I would seriously advise aganst using spacers as you are relying on the wheel bolts/studs to support the weight of the car and all the pressures of throwing it round corners. Unless the spacer has a spigot mounting then I advise you not to fit it.
