original cosworth 3 bar map sensor voltage reading
brown siignal wire 1.5 volts
brown green wire earth 4.5
brown yellow power wire 4,9 these figures are with the plug connected
brown signal wire 4.8
brown green earth wire 3.9
brown yellow power wire 5.1
the last 3 readings
were with the plug off
is my map sensor knackerd ior what should these readings be cheers

 

I would be looking at the wiring and the ecu. A ground wire should be 0 volt at all times.

 

i have checked my wires at ecu and read
brown /orange 4,9 to 5 volts spot on
there is 2 brown /green wires dont know 1 goes but the other goes map sensor 026.1 voltage wihich minuscule according to the drawing is spot on
brown signal wire 1.550 voltage spot on so why is the earth at the map sensor read 4.5
