Default Zetec Turbo Conversion Help

already bought a brand new T2 turbo off ebay. thinking i can use a van aaken exhaust manifold for their zetec-s T25 conversion or a recently discovered ERST exhaust manifold with zetec flange welded on to fit a T3. also will be switching to a 1700 puma intake manifold (anyone have one?), 1600 TB and MAF, will be making my own intake plumbing to hook the turbo up to the TB, intercooler and filter, misc oil lines and fittings, dump valve, ARP con rod bolts. oh and a stronger head gasket which i am currently trying to work out the needed thickness of. i would be mounting the MAF before the turbo and mounting the air temp sensor after the turbo.

im thinking i could get away with using an apexi safc-2 and possibly 1400 or 1600 injectors to increase fuelling enough to run the system on a low amount of boost untill i can afford a full 3D mapping and forged low comp pistons. do you guys think this would work for the time being on an initially low boost application?

also what do you think the max level of boost i could safely run on the above mentioned setup with a piggy back ECU? i was thinking in the neighbourhood of 3-7psi, this sound ok? i dont want to pop the engine or anything but i do want to go turbo.
