C1310 + c1300 faults
Bought an st170 last week and I’ve been tinkering away since. She was bought so cheap it’s insulting to ford lol. I’ve a longish list of jobs completed and I’m nearly there but the last job I may need help. It’s showing two faults c1300 + c1310. I’ve done a bit of reading and the first port of call is to check lines hoses calipers etc for leaks and apparently bulging hoses can cause it too. If they are ok give the system a good bleed. It’s late now and I’m posting before I take action tomorrow. I have noticed my car has new brake lines so hopefully a bleed will sort it. I’m only posting to have a speedy reply I’m going to get that check and bleed done tomorrow. It also said where I read that it’s normaly the anti skid ecu for the abs if the first port of call fails. My wheels are getting referbed at the mo so will be next week before I get a test drive, I’ll stomp on the brakes a few times to try aggravate the fault then and follow up but any experience with these faults would be a good help.

Back again
A bleed sorted me for now. Fault never came back since then. In my case she had new hoses all around and pedal wasn’t right which only became apparent after a bleed. Ebay has some cheap ass pumps/modules on there too tho. From reading other posts here they give grief. So I’ll be back if it does. If anyone knows anything about programming or ways around it, it would be a huge help because I’ll be tackling with no know how otherwise and will cost me peace of mind to say the least haha.
