Default s1 faults and problems, any help?????

hey all, i have just finished the restoration of my s1, at last. however i have a few problems....

starting...when cold it takes forever to start and i mean forever...but eventually it does go...the engine is brand new...well all parts are new and everything is in the correct place, it has a few upgrades,

steel crank, forged pistons, all the usual strong bolts and stuff.
head.. 285t2 isky stuff, pollished, wrc head gasket,
opened chip (turbo systems)
Turbo.... t28 turbonetics roller bearing conv,

i have no idea why it wont start properly,??? any help???
anything i can try, disconect, block up,

also i have mondeo polished rs 7'spokes 17" to go on...oh dear my wheel bolts are way too small, what bolts do i use and where can i get them??

any help would be great, thanks peeps..

are u still running it on mfi or converted to efi?
if it still on mfi it sound like fuel might not be bled up properly, or you have an air leak which mfi systems dont like,

to blled the mfi system, put ignition on, take plugs out and press down on the metering flap , you should hear all the injectors give a little squeek, if they dont all do it, keep pressing it till they do, the turn engine over and fuel shoud get thrown out of the spark plug holes,
also as rodney says it might be cold start valve as they do tend to fuk up, but it should still start if you feather throttle a little bit
