Default Wire identification help

Hoping you can help me id the wires on this sapphire 4x4 stereo plug. Starting from the left (ford logo side) if you can please.

Also the 3rd wire in from the left (brown with yellow trace) is missing from the splitter loom to the radio & cd player....is that possibly causing my issues??
Both ends of the original ford splitter loom are like this, missing the brown wire with yellow trace.
As always I'm sure someone on here can help me out.

I gues that might be dim from instruments to dull the lights screen when lights on. Try putting a probe in and see if it goes live with lights on.

Please find attached pdf of the wiring diagram for the stereo. The CD player is shown below where it says equalizer and definitely shows the brown / yellow (BR-GE) wire in place.
Hope this helps
Cheers

A couple of other diagrams you may need. The wire in question goes to the anti theft module (alarm). You will see the radio in the bottom left corner of the alarm drawing with the same wire number.

By the way, I believe it is the small Grey with yellow trace wire next to it that is for the lighting (from fuse 7) For info: BL - Blue, BR - Brown, GE - Yellow, GR - Grey, GN - Green, RS - Pink, RT - Red, SW - Black, VI - violet, WS - White. Its a German thing I believe.
