Default RS Turbo running problems

Finally got my RS Turbo running again but its not running right, basically it was ok, then i changed the Head Gasket, put on Cossie Turbo, new alternator, although due to other commitments the car was left in bits for about 6 weeks or so, put it all back together last night, and it just starts but is really lumpy and sounds like its gonna cut out just checked the timing and it seems ok, plugs seem to have carbon deposits on tips so will need changing but what coud cause it to run really lumpy? and how can i fix this

So you fitted the cambelt at TDC, have you tried adjusting the position of the Distributor? move it slightly left or right

Possibly the fueling is out so it's over or under fueling

Check that the flap in the metering unit is moving freely and that there are no air leaks

have you blanked off all unnecessary air intakes to boost pipes - breather systems etc?

Does sound like an air leak as said above, check all pipes/hoses.

If all the pipes are fitted and are not holed/split and the timing is good it may just need ran up a little. Try raising the revs for a peroids of time to clear out any cobwebs. if this doesnt work take it to your local rollin road for a fuel and ignition setup.
