Group a Coil Rewire Loom
Can anyone please tell me how a group a coil rewire loom works Please.
where everything connects up to in the loom
and where the pins go to on the relay and where they connect to would be great.
or if anyone has a diagram they could send me I would really appreciate it.
I have a loom from a few years ago that's just blue spade connectors on a relay an auto spark made for me
but would like to see if its wired correctly as three of the pins were knocked off while I had it on the shelf so my pride and joy don't end up destroyed or will not start.

I should imagine the original supply is used for the relay, you then would need to ground it.
You then need to run a protected live from the battery to the relay and from the output to the coil.

Thanks Martysmartie. I appreciate your reply.
but I need it in non tech terms like the following.
in essence a fools guide to stick mine back together
battery+ to terminal 30 relay.
where battery - connects to.
pin 85 relay
pin 86 relay
pin 87 relay

So Pin 85 will be the original feed to the coil (black wire) 86 to a good ground.
30 is as you say, although this must be protected as close to the battery as possible via a fuse.
87 is the output, so this connects to the coil.

hey martysmartie just out of curiosity what wire sizes should be used.
the ones in mine are 32 strand looking like 1mm sq. quite thin insulation.
should they not be thicker.
