Default Rs2000 into my mk4 kombi

Looking for a bit help!
Got fed up with the Rs turbo lump I had fitted in my kombi, got offered an rs 2000 lump from my mate cheap so bought the lot, engine, box, full pats etc (key etc) exhaust, shafts.

Been told putting the pats ecu etc may be a bit of a nightmair! Been told I can use a 1agb loom which is non pats but seem quite hard to get!
Any other looms that will work?

Also what engine mounts have people used?

Seen that a lot of people that have done this conversion in a mk4 have kept the Rs turbo box rather than the mtx75 box, this is obvisly due to the no 4 cradle mounts, but I'm sure there will be away of using the mtx box!

Before some people start and say why didn't you go zetec etc as there better etc etc I like to be different and not mayn't mk4 rs2000 kombis 👍

Any help would be great full
Cheers 👍

Custom mounts, shafts, linkage for fitting the mtx, oddkidd does the conversion parts but they aint cheap, inner wing will need modification too.

The mounts etc wouldnt be a problem as I'm a welder fabricator so can make the most stuff up at work
But might give jano a shout and see what he's got

His conversion bits use s1 or rs16i front anti roll bar if I remember correctly. But if you can fabricate your own mounts then you would probably only need to have shafts made and mod the inner wing/chassis leg to clear the box. Oh and sort the linkage.

For simplicity, I'd probably just use a MK4 Escort box, saves the faff with driveshafts etc.

box is easy fit. jyst costs $ for clutch450, shafts500 mounts250. say 1500 for figures done.

Engine not such a great choice even tho I know you want to be diff. it weighs about the same as 2 cvh engines. over the front wheels is never a good senario. really you want the lightest fastest cheapest engine. either alloy 2.3 duratec or 2lzetec.

the effort to fit and work for 140bhp is pointless. and it will handle really shit.
