Hi , replaced my steering wheel on my mk1 focus rs but when removing the centre nut 24mm and removing the wheel the shaft shot inside ,hell of a job to get the shaft out as it has a strong spring anybody know why in shot in ,now the new wheel is on the steering feels stiff have i tighten the 24mm nut to much any help would be very appreciated thanks
