Default Centre box removal and noise level check on trackdays

Has anybody removed their centre section and still passed the noise limits on trackdays?

I know the decibel levels vary but I want to do away with my centre box as it pretty much acts speed bump guard! It's pretty much fooked anyway

A life ban is a bit harsh! I'm running a stage 3 Saph with 3" exhaust system.

What exhaust? Certainly a scorpion without the centre box is properly loud

Could you run a bolt on external silencer? See them quite often at track days.

TBH with the small outlay incurred buy yourself a becibelmeter. Go to Maplins and get one quite cheap, Mount it on a 1metre pole and away you go - home test kit for about Ł60 and guarantees you won't get kicked on a track day. It's what I did.

We was told last yearly at Bedford when we did a track day there and I was chatting to Martin Hadland there when he bort his lambo down and he was thinking of taking it around the track and they told him face to face .
My mate did donnington about 3 weeks back it's 98Db there he hit 98.2 they asked him to have a look at it . We wot can you do so he backed off by the 3 sound meters they have so they had a chat with him again as they could tell wot he was doing so he went back out again pinged it . So that was the end of his day Ł260 down the drain .
