hello, i'm in need of help on how and what do i need to swap the diesel engine to a black top 2.0 zetec i'm wondering on all the parts that would be needed to do the swap i'm going to strip the van bear and get sprayed...

im looking at a black top rather than silver as i can find one easier i have read on some threads that silver tops are better

i have seen on other post but as i'm a complete novice on cars i'm not understanding it as much my main questions are

1.what parts do i need to put on the engine
2.what ecu should i get and wiring loom
3.what exhaust
4.how will i mount it will it be a straight swap
5.will i need a new gearbox as the other threads suggest not
6.do i need new speedometer
7. will i need to do any structural work
any help would be fantastic!! and could you please tell me if you feel ive left anything out thankyou sooo much in advanced

 

What year escort van? Is it a TD or none turbo diesel
