since i ran out of petrol a few months ago my fuel gauge has played up, when i fill up it reads full but as soon as it goes under half a tank the gauge drops right off and then comes back up a bit then back off etc.... is the fuel sender unit at fault? if so where abouts on the tank is it? i cant find a pic of it in the haynes manual and they dont even mention it
