Default head bolts

just wondering whats the best route 2 go....my cars running a t34 hybrid, light blues, rs500 intercooler, rad n turbo cooler, heads been ported n polished, bd10 cams etc n ave just been gettin a extra thick head gasket cos the heads been skimmed on my car.........but what head bolts do i use?

should i get uprated ones or r standard ones ok for running hi n low boost...hi bein round bout 23psi

just dnt fancy gettin standard ones n them stretching n knacking the gasket...

standard bolts are fine my bosses cossie is running 410 brake with a cometic gasket and the bolts are on their second time round they dont stretch twice!

I agree a stud and nut kit. This can be reused over and over as there is no stretch/angle to to do when torqing up.Gives a much better(more even)clamping force.
Make sure the block and head are spotless if your going with a steel gasket as they are much less forgiving with any imperfections on the mating surfaces.

Jakki i used arp stud and nut kit and had probs with head gaskets leaking, went back to std bolts and they are fine, mine running same spec as yours
