Hi all
I've just bought a old basic mk6 2005 fiesta for my 17 year old son to learn in (wish me luck h
It had a bump on OSF not too heavy but causing air and tensioner to go off ( Ive spoke to the girl that was driving and really surprised they went off so easily but there you go ???)
Anyway I replaced wing,bumper bonnet and lights along with drivers air bag and tensioner , cleared the codes and light goes our OK But on next ignition cycle it returns with fault codd "crash data recorded "
After a bit of searching the net I've had conflicting results so the question is the best way to fix it
1/ send module off to be cleared
2/ buy a eBay one for a tenner
3/ buy a new Ford one
Can a s/h one just be plugged in and away or does it need resetting ? I have use of a snap on solus and a Delphi to clear the code (neither will reprogram them tho )
