Head scratcher
I wouldn't normally come On here to ask for help for such a simple thing but I'm really scratching my head
It's to do with my electric window motor. When I bought the car it wasn't working. Easy fx I thought.
But seems like it's a bit of bugger.
I took the motor off and bench tested it and worked perfectly. The plug to the motor has power and when plugged in the motor has power. The volts switch from pos to neg depending On if I press the switch up or down. The switch has a good ground and works perfectly. I even swooped the switches over but to no luck
The power to the motor is just over 12v.
I also bought a second hand motor which also does not work when plugged in but worked when bench tested
Car is a cough cough. Fiat seicento. Lol.

A multimeter can show 12v but there is no power (amps) behind the voltage if you see what I mean.
Some diesel glow plug circuits are like this, the meter shows 12v but there is no power to light a bulb.
