Default flashing glow plug light

Hi, i have a 54 plate ford ranger, the glow plug light on the dash starts to flash after driving a couple of miles.

There is a change in tone to the engine sometimes but doesnt loose power.

Any advise is most welcome !!

I would start by having the fault codes read.

Hi, i have taken the vehicle to a local ford main agent who said there "could be" a fuel pump fault & they changed the fuel filter, which didnt resolve the issue !!!....

The vehicle still drives & the light still flashes..another garage couldnt plug into it as its a Mazda /Ford configuration !!!

Im wondering if its a bad electrical fault ??
