Right after no end of problems with my old engine (pistons) I decided to get another engine in the car.


The new engine is a perfect runner but now another problem has occurred :/


I now have no central locking or windows. Also the rear window heater switch is constantly on and gets brighter when passenger window switch is pressed.


Im thinking its not the fuse box as I had a leak on that before and it was refurbished and covered so that shouldn't be a problem.


Could it be an earth? Id did quickly see if there is power to the switches and there is but batteries have died in my meter now


Any ideas before I go mad!!

 

Sounds like a bad earth.

 

Centrall locking was connection on the fuse box. That's sorted. Got passenger window working just drivers side now.
