My mates S1 doesn't all ways start when it's hot. It will spin over fine but won't fire, but if he sprays a little bit of easy start into the inlet it fires first time. We have tried a the cold start injector and coolant sensor under the inlet manifold but still doesn't start. Has anyone had this trouble before or does anyone have any idea what it could be?

my s1 gets this problem aswell if i take the air filter off and push the metering flap down as someone turns it over it'll start but it don't wanna idle until its been driven for a while would love to know what the problem is or where to look

 

mine had same problem changed everything u could think of exept wiring loom in the end i sold it bought another cossie instead
