Hi everyone just after a bit of advice i have a 2008 ford focus 1.6TCDI zetec

I have recently had a problem where my esp light would stay on all the time, i got the rac to hook it up to their computer see pic below and it came up with a fault code C1288

after google i have found out it is the abs pump that is gone and needs a new one, i can get a new one from ford for £180 but i would perfer to try a second hand one,

i just have a few questions does the abs part no have to match i have found lodes of abs pumps for my car same year same engine size but the part no is different.

also a lot of these second hand one have the abs pump and ecu combined if i put that one in does the ecu need reprogramming to my car
