I appreciate your suspicion. I can assure you I am genuine and honest. I currently have an auto electrician working on my car, and despite his experience he cannot find the immobiliser box under the bonnet. You will see from my earlier threads I am having real problems in starting my beloved Scorpio 2.9 24v automatic. Please help me if you can.

the "granada" scorpio has a different alarm to the "Scorpio"
the frog eyes used pats (passive anti theft system) which were very hard to get around whereas the granada used fords own anti theft system which, even by our standards now, was very very easy to bypass
if the auto electrician can't get around it then i'd find another auto electrician because the alarm doesn't stop the car from starting

having looked at your previous threads it would appear that you need a new fuse box as they were very prone to getting damp due to their position under the bonnet
ford gave the later cars little plastic covers to go over them and the battery to stop this happening so do you have this?

i've got a few laying about in the garage i think if you get stuck, but you can open them up and separate all the electrical plates that power up each system and clean them up or get them replated if they are shot
not something you could do with the earlier boxes as everything was integral and you couldn't split them
the other bonus is that the plugs only go in one way so even if you lose one of the labels you put on you should be able to sort them out no worries
when you unplug it just feed the wires out one by one as the plugs on the ends won't all fit through the rubber grommet on the end
as for the alarm, there was a separate alarm module somewhere in the car but i can't remember where they were located as it's been a few years now
