I have bought an GReddy profec electronic boost controller, the latest model...

i get setting the boost etc, but what does the " gain" mean ??
What does the gain do??

Any info on setting and gain would be appreciated

I think, from memory of mine, it's a percentage of the max it can handle.
Mine is a 2.5 bar version so 100 is 2.5 bar. 50 would be 1.25 bar.

So gain looks like a percentage of the set boost

 

im under the understanding of with mine,

set = desired boost
gain= is after boost as peaked and dropped gain will add back to desired boost level,
set gain= start boost
warning is visible
warning limit will limit the boost

the last screen is highest recorded boost,push the knob in to reset this its a very good tool knowing how much boost its recorded every run
