Hi again, got some 2.0 cams from a mondy, is there any point in swapping the exhaust cam?

Also will the 105 zetec springs be ok with 2.0 cams? Engine code RDF (possibly RDA can't remember right now) 105 bhp

swap both cams (only swap silver top for silver top, black top for black top due to cam profile differences between hydraulic and mechanical lifters), springs are the same.

 

Didnt the 130 bhp rs 1800 engine use 2.0 cams with a high output inlet manifold and fuelled to suit?

Yep they're both silvertop

I only ask cos someone left the oil cap off the mondy motor in the scrappy, so rain's got in on the 4th cyl exhaust lobes & spots of rust on the cam, I'll just rub em off then might need a new follower too
