First of all my machanical knowledge is limited by ill try anything.

I have a spark, I've just run a direct live to the fuel pump which made one click. With a direct live should it buz continually? Is this the issue?

Any ideas gents would really help?

 

Sounds like a defective fuel pump to me.

Disconnect the return fuel line from the end of the fuel rail or fuel pressure regulator.
Put something under it to collect fuel. Then run the direct live feed to the fuel pimp.
How much fuel do you get in 30 seconds?

 

And check the fuses and relays for the ecu, on the passenger side under dash.
Does your amal valve click when you turn the ignition on and off?

 

I've disconnected the fuel regulator from the rail & put my direct feed on the pump, again one click & nothing, no fuel in my pot from the regulator either. When I disconnected the regulator fuel did come out the rail, not sure if that means anything.

The fuses are all fine & when I turn the ignition on I can hear the relay click as before the issue.

 

I can't hear any valve click on or off, what's an Amal valve?

 

Problem 1: seized/jammed fuel pump.
