Default EFI pressures please

1990 1.6 CVH with EFI

Does anyone know the correct (standard) pressure that the fuel pump should produce and also the correct (standard) pressure that should be in the fuel rail?

Cheers

Not too sure myself on the pressure, but the fpr should sort it to the correct amount in the fuel rail.
Sorry can't help mate, someone will know

Wanted to know what pressure the fuel rail should be as we think the FPR could be off as we found a SHONKY NUT on the adjuster

Thanks for the email mate but they are the sealed ones. The one we have is the earlier adjustable one arrowed.

We think this has been messed with so want to get it back to standard to prove if it's faulty or not

Yeah they used to wind them up back in the day. cant you do a few test runs to see how it runs while turning it down?

Unfortunately not you see the EFI is SHONKED with Induction kits, bad exhausts, setting all over the shop, causing rough running, flat spots etc.

So we are gradually going back through the whole system gradually ticking the boxes getting it back, but this is the next thing. We have managed find the pressures should be 5.0 bar fuel pump and 2.5 bar at the fuel rail but wanted to get this confirmed.

Done so far

Standard Exhaust fitted
Standard Air Box fitted
Trottle body cleaned out
Idle valve cleaned out
pipes checked for leaks
Breather cleaned out
New plugs
Fuel pressure from pump = 4.0 bar
Fuel regulator... Next...
