Sometimes they do. Hydrolic clutches run off the brake system. I.e. to top both up you fill the brake fluid reservoir. My toyota does it slightly, it's the engines way to stop it from stalling at low revs. If its significantly higher like over 1k revs that's a different matter. Hope this helps

I think theres a valve somewhere in one of the vacuum hoses, when the valve goes as the clutch is released it causes an airleak.

most likely the clutch switch at fault, does it have drive by wire throttle?

Could it be an air leak towards the brake servo?

Lol you don't need a manual to see that. Open the bonnet a look at the right hand side of the block. Is there a chunk of metal bolted between the block and the air pipe with a coiled up wire around it? It will move when some one accelerates for you.

no there wont be as it will have an electronic accelerator so nothing will visibly move when someone accelerates it unless you have the airbox stripped off to see the butterfly and it isnt on the right hand side of the engine either
nor do throttles bolt to the block

Not had these hanging revs up as yet, the older ones were common for it.

As Botters says, electronic throttle on them, Ford call the pedal APP (accelerator, pedal, position) warranty admin bloke asked me once what APP meant on one of my write-ups, I just said "Another piece of plastic"

Worth checking if clutch pedal switch is there and plugged in/wires connected.

They were shit when that model of Fiesta first came out, loads of them would suddenly have a loss of throttle and "EAC FAILURE" on the dash, some had pedals, some had throttle bodies, some had engine bay wiring looms, some had PCMs.
