Default Zetec Turbo

Right, it's a series 3 zetec blacktop from a focus with a rover turbo inlet manifold. The problem is there is the "thermistor" in a dry pocket right where I've bolted the adapter plate. Obviously I've taken it out but where can I take a new feed from for this sensor. A cvh thermostat housing with sensor and do away with the probe?
Any help is appreciated

Sorry haven't got a picture as of yet. It's a long brass probe that screws in just under the far right handside inlet port if you look at it dead on. It's a 15mm to undo and has 2 wires.

I need to get some pics! Description fail!

And where my fingers pointing is where the dry pocket is. U can't see it because of the adapter plate but that's the location.

Drill a hole in the plate or bin that crap and have the manifold welded so you don't need one. That's what I did

Cylinder head temp sensor that is.

What car is the zetec in, and what management is fitted? as if its in a dry pocket you can prob just do away with it.

Lets just say I ran ofab could use the cvh thermostat instead? But saying that I'd need an inline temp sensor to run MS anyway

yep theres a guy on ebay i spoke to selling cvh to zetec turbo head adpator plates for the thermostat to bolt to you head and means you can keep the cvh top water hose

if your running the ofab ecu you will need to change to the cvh housing or run your fan on a on/off bodge switch

the zetec fan is controlled by the ecu from what i can work out so the ofab wont support it and if you putting it in a cvh car then the standard car loom/ fan loom wires up and powers the fan, much better way of doing it than running the fan of a switch in the car
