Default Fuel Swirl Pot Setup Question

Right ive got what i beleive is all the needed for my swirl pot setup and i beleive i know how to plum it in but can so correct me if im right or wrong please thank you.

Parts
Fuel swirl pot
Fuel filter
fuel pump
fuel line
hose clamps

How to fit.
Swirl pot
top hose is feed for tank return pipe
hose just below that is the for engine return
hose just below that is swirl pot feed from tank
and the bottom one is for second fuel pump feed/engine

which way to setup.
Swirl pot the fuel filter then fuel pump then engine.

Wiring.
Just wire new fuel pumps live and ground into exsiting fuel pump wires.

Does this all sound about right?

I'm just about to do mine as my after market tank surges like fuck lol
I'm going to use the set up on the car now 044 pump then filter to run into the boot and feed my 1.5L surge tank which will then feed a second 044 which will feed the rail got a 4 port -8 tank from eBay for 40 quid
I'm going to wire my second pump in on its own relay with a 12v battery supply just like the one that's on the car now but the relay will share the earth and ecu trigger wire with the first pumps relay! The pump its self will share the first pumps earth at the rear of the car

i didnt have any problems with my std tank last time it was on the track but next time it goes out the car will have loads more grip and an extra 50bhp ish so im fitting one just incase lol. Im using the stock fiesta pump to feed the pot which should be more than enough and im using a facet sliver comp pump 5psi upto 200bhp to feed the engine which should be more than enough as im only look at 170bhp ish once i finsh/start the engine.

I had my standard cosworth tank on the car for about 4 years with 500bhp and it never surged once but got an after market one had it aero quipped and painted fitted it to the car and the swirl pot in it is shit!
I can't be arsed to get the standard one modded and painted so I'm taking the surge tank route

If your talking to me bud my car already has an 044 on it so I may as well leave that wear it is and let the surge tank feed another 044 but no I don't really need 2 as one is good for 600bhp

Im just going off of what ive been told but......., i have have a P100 and im using that standard tank (no internal swirl) and was told to get a std pump, an 044 and a swirl pot (1L / 1.5L). Ill be running 450 ish bhp.

I assumed that the std pump would feed the swirl and the 044 the reg and injector's. Could off miss understood, hence the interest in the tread.

True you only need a low pressure pump really as its only job is to keep the swirl pot topped up which is only 2 litres at most

Only reason I'm using two 044's is because my hole fuel system is aero quipped and looks nice and neat so I'll just re plumb it with line from the filter going into the boot to the surge tank then that will feed the second 044 as I need an 044 to feed the rail will join the line that feeds the rail that's already on the car

No by the looks of it ive cocked up and mixed up bar and psi and thinking 5bar would be enough i ordered a 5psi pump without thinking.

it would only just get to the fuel rail let alone be enough to feed the engine

well ive found a replacement pump.
Syntec pump 8.5 bar should be more than enough or is it over kill?
its going to be run a 1.7 Zetec-SE VCT Engine running 125bhp but will be at 170bhp+ at the end of the year
